Delhi's 55,000 auto-rickshaw drivers plan strike on Tuesday

Delhi's 55,000 auto-rickshaw drivers plan strike on Tuesday against the government directive for re-allotment of drivers' badges to them. M S Mansoori, general secretary of the Rashtriya Rajdhani Shetra Tin-Pahiya Chalak Union, Delhi complained that around 10 years ago, they were issued temporary driver badges after they had paid Rs 400 and attended two-day class. The government had promised to replace these with permanent ones. But now the government is again asking them to pay another Rs 600 and appear in a fresh test. And, isn’t it shameful? "Why should we keep on paying money again and again? Can't the process be carried out in a more planned manner? We can't afford to waste money like this," he added.

The auto-rickshaw drivers have also accused the government of making arbitrary laws which affect them without even consulting them. "The transport department makes laws in air-conditioned rooms and we have to abide those laws," added Mansoori.

Facebook can tell if you are a 'narcissist' but, please, don't believe this logic

Though social networking commentator Laurel Papworth doubt the fact, researchers at Canada's York University said that If you are obsessed with your status updates and picture uploads on Facebook, you are probable an online narcissist and your behaviour is related to egotism and low self-esteem. 

"They probably show that narcissist trait offline as well, but online, they update a lot and always write about where they are or who they're with," News.com.au quoted Australian Facebook researcher Julian Cole as saying.

However, Laurel Papworth said this was not true. "I would expect that to be true of a broadcast site like YouTube or MySpace, but Facebook is where you communicate with your inner circle of friends and it mimics your everyday behaviour," Papworth said. Instead, users were "trying to show that they feel loved by friends writing comments back," she added. And, I believe that most social media users, in their close circles, follow one common online behavior: "I-promise-to-listen-I-promise-to-respond-to-your-questions".

Google celebrates 25 years of the 'Buckyball'

Google dedicated its Google doodle today for Buckyball. One 'o' of Google converted into a "Buckyball" and the Google doodle informs that its 25th anniversary of Buckyball. Buckyball logo is spinning, today, on the Google search engine's homepage. In the mid of Google logo a yellow ball appears and then it turns into a Buckyball. Buckyball are also amazing desktoy which keeps you busy and entertained.
